Vector Optics Orion Pro Max 6-24x50 HD FFP riflescope is a variable magnification riflescope designed for precision shooting at longer distances. It combines a wide 6–24× magnification range with a 50 mm objective lens and an FMC-treated optical system, ensuring a clear and high‑contrast image.
Optical system
The 6–24× magnification range allows the riflescope to be used for detailed target observation and precise hits at longer distances. Thanks to the 50 mm objective lens, enough light enters the optical system, helping to maintain a readable image even at higher magnification and in poorer light conditions.
HD glass (High Definition) and multiple anti-reflective coatings (FMC / Fully-Multi Coated) are used to increase contrast and reduce glare. The image is therefore sharper across the entire field of view, with better resolution of target details, which is important for fine aiming at small target zones.
Reticle
The riflescope uses a VE-RDF reticle in the first focal plane (FFP), so the size of the reticle changes proportionally with the magnification. This keeps the values in the reticle consistent throughout the entire magnification range, making it easier to work with ballistic corrections without the need for recalculation.
The reticle has a red illuminated dot. The brightness of the illumination can be adjusted in 6 levels and is powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).
Adjustment and parallax
The riflescope is equipped with exposed adjustment turrets for elevation and windage correction. The turrets have clearly legible markings and a pronounced click, so each click can be easily felt even when wearing gloves. The value of one click is 1/4 MOA, with a total range of 80 MOA in elevation and 60 MOA in windage. There is also a Zero Stop function for quick return to a pre-set zero, as well as a Turret Lock function, where the turret must be pulled up before it can be turned.
The parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity is located on the side. On the eyepiece there is a dioptre adjustment, which allows the sharpness of the reticle to be adapted to the user’s eyesight in the range of ±2D.
Construction and durability
The riflescope body with IPX4 rating is made from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminium alloy. The scope uses a 30 mm tube. The interior is nitrogen filled to reduce internal fogging during sudden temperature changes. This model is capable of withstanding 750 G (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms in .223 and .308 calibres.
