Vector Optics Orion Pro Max 6-24x50 HD FFP riflescope is a variable magnification riflescope designed for precision shooting at longer distances. It combines a wide 6–24× magnification range with a 50 mm objective lens and FMC treatment of the optical system, ensuring a clear and high‑contrast image.
Optical system
The 6–24× magnification range allows the riflescope to be used for detailed target observation and precise hits at longer distances. Thanks to the 50 mm objective lens, enough light enters the optical system, which helps maintain a readable image even at higher magnification and in poorer light conditions.
HD glass (High Definition) and multiple anti-reflective coatings (FMC / Fully-Multi Coated) are used to increase contrast and reduce glare. The image is therefore sharper across the entire field of view, with better resolution of target details, which is important for fine aiming at small target zones.
Reticle
The riflescope uses a VE-RDF reticle in the first focal plane (FFP), so the size of the reticle changes proportionally with the magnification. As a result, the values in the reticle remain consistent across the entire magnification range, which makes working with ballistic corrections easier without the need for recalculation.
The reticle features a red illuminated dot. The brightness of the illumination can be adjusted in 6 levels and is powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).
Adjustment and parallax
The riflescope is equipped with exposed adjustment turrets for elevation and windage correction. The turrets have clearly legible markings and a distinct click, so each click can be easily perceived even when wearing gloves. The value of one click is 1/4 MOA, with a total range of 80 MOA for elevation and 60 MOA for windage. There is also a Zero Stop function for a quick return to a pre-set zero and a Turret Lock function, where the turret must be pulled up before turning.
On the side there is a control for parallax from 10 yards to infinity. On the eyepiece there is a diopter adjustment, which allows you to adapt the sharpness of the reticle to the user’s eyesight in the range of ±2D.
Construction and durability
The riflescope body with a protection rating of IPX4 is made from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. The riflescope uses a 30 mm diameter tube. The interior is nitrogen-filled to reduce internal fogging during sudden temperature changes. This model is capable of withstanding 750 G (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms in .223 and .308 calibers.
