The most important component of any riflescope is, of course, the optical system, and the manufacturer Vector Optics knows this very well. That is why the Continental x6 1-6x24 SFP G4 MOA model offers a truly top-class system of LaREE and VePRO lenses with FMC coating, which lets through an impressive 90% of light. Thanks to this, the riflescope is suitable for use even in low-light conditions.
This model is equipped with an etched G4 reticle in the second focal plane (the reticle does not increase in size as magnification changes) with a total of 6 brightness levels, powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).
Elevation and windage adjustment is given in MOA, where 1 click = 1/2 MOA with a total adjustment range of 120 MOA. Parallax correction is fixed at 100 yards. Rotation of the turrets is accompanied by a quiet click, allowing you to adjust the riflescope more easily without taking your eyes off the target. Dioptre adjustment is from -2 to +2 and the eye relief is 100 mm.
All components are protected by a durable body with IP67 rating made from aircraft-grade aluminium 6061 T6, thanks to which the riflescope can withstand recoil of 750G. The one-piece forged tube has a diameter of 30mm and, to prevent the lenses from fogging due to sudden temperature changes, the riflescope is filled with nitrogen.
This model is capable of withstanding 1000 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms chambered in .300, .308 and .338.
