The scope is suitable for air rifles as well as rimfire and centerfire rifles, where you will appreciate its versatile use.
The Vector Optics Veyron 2-8x32 IR SFP Compact MPR-V5 MIL model belongs to the category of compact riflescopes, which save space while maintaining a high-quality, easy-to-read image throughout the entire magnification range. The placement of the reticle in the second focal plane (SFP) ensures a constant reticle size regardless of the selected magnification, which makes quick aiming and target observation easier.
The MPR-V5 reticle is designed for precise work with zeroing and for estimating holdovers in elevation and wind. Shooters in the sport and recreational categories will benefit from a clear scale suitable for making corrections without the need for constant turret adjustments.
Integrated reticle illumination enables comfortable use in low-light conditions. Brightness can be set in 6 levels so that the reticle remains easy to read without overpowering the target. Thanks to this, the riflescope can be used for shooting at dusk and against darker backgrounds. The illumination is powered by one CR2032 battery (not included).
The riflescope uses FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) lens coatings, which improve light transmission and contrast. The image remains sharp across a wide field of view and is easy to read even at higher magnifications. The nitrogen-filled construction made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy provides an IPX4 rating. This model is able to withstand 750 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of firearms in .223 and .308 calibers.
The elevation and windage turrets are graduated in 1/10 MIL and can be locked against unintentional adjustment thanks to the Turret Lock function. Diopter adjustment of +-2D is standard. Parallax is fixed at 100 metres.
