I had no experience with a collimator before. It's a cool thing. It's great
as a first collimator to try out what and how.
I tried it on a Walther air pistol. The problem was with mounting it to the
gun. The width of the groove on the gun was larger than on the collimator and it
was a problem to mount it there even though both products say 11 mmm.
The collimator could not be fixed firmly even though I tightened the screws as
hard as I could to avoid damaging the collimator.
When firing the pistol, due to the impact of the gas piston, the collimator
moved backwards until it pushed against the fixed sights and spoiled the
collimator's aiming/adjustment. Thus it was able to move from the forward
position to fully rearward in about 20 shots.
I would not recommend it for an air rifle or air pistol with a spring or gas
piston.

it works.
