I consider this a compromise between performance and size of the gun.If you combine different balls in the magazine, including maybe two pepper balls, you can slow down or even stop a regular drunk or drug addict aggressor.

Writing a review here is beyond punishment..it cleared itself out several times on its own already.but to the point..this gun works and gets the most out of a 12g cartridge.more power would reduce the number of shots .In self defense it will depend on what part of the body you hit..unless it is a life or death situation I wouldn't aim for the head.A blue 2g heavy ball goes through a full can with no problem.

It can basically only be worn in a backpack.It is not suitable for wearing on a belt.
Do not draw this weapon if someone threatens you with a real firearm.
The plastic in the upper front part between the sights is a bit loose.
