PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The decorative replica of the MP41 submachine gun with sling, Germany 1940 by Denix has a wooden stock and a metal body. A leather shoulder sling is included.
The replica features a removable magazine and a moving mechanism that simulates the firearm's action. The metal parts have a dark finish, and the wooden stock extends into the fore-end.
The historical original was designed by Hugo Schmeisser and manufactured by the German company C.G. Haenel in Suhl. Production of the MP41 began in 1941. The design combined elements of the MP40 and MP28 submachine guns and, unlike the MP40, offered a choice of semi-automatic and fully automatic fire.
Warning: This is a decorative replica firearm intended for collecting and display purposes. The replica cannot fire and does not have the mechanisms required to discharge a shot. It is not a deactivated firearm – the product was not originally a functional firearm that was subsequently deactivated.
