Replica design

The metal body of the revolver is complemented by a nickel-plated surface finish and decorative engraving. The grip is made of plastic with an ivory-effect finish.

The moving mechanism allows cocking; when the trigger is pressed, the mechanism clicks. The cylinder also rotates.

Historical original

The Colt Model 1851 Navy was an American .36-calibre percussion six-shot revolver manufactured from 1850 to 1873. The designation “Navy” referred to the calibre, not necessarily to service in the navy. Revolvers of this type were widespread among soldiers and civilians, and during the American Civil War they were used mainly by cavalry and part of the artillery.
