Thanks to its high durability, weight of only 165 g including battery and exceptional parameters, it will be loved not only by hikers. The maximum output of the lantern is 400 lm and the range reaches an impressive 25 metres.
The lantern is equipped with SMD diodes and red LEDs. The SMD LEDs have 6 different light modes with 400 lm (last 5 hrs), 150 lm (last 15 hrs), 40 lm (last 30 hrs), 25 lm side light (last 58 hrs), 25 lm bottom light (last 58 hrs) or 3 lm bottom light (last 240 hrs). The red LEDs then emit 1 lm of either steady light (200 h duration) or flashing light (400 h duration).
It is powered by a rechargeable 2600 mAh 18650 battery, which is charged via a micro USB connector. In case of emergency, however, you can replace it with two CR123A batteries. Under the Fenix logo on the front of the lantern you will find a control button with battery status indicator. A long press is used to switch the lantern on and off. A short squeeze in the on state then switches between modes. A double press in the on state switches the lantern to red modes.
The lantern is made of a durable polymer that makes it playfully resist dropping from 1 meter, so you don't have to worry about it getting hurt if it falls off your desk. It also boasts an IP66 rating. So it can withstand even heavy rain. It has a hanging eye and a thread for mounting on a tripod.
