The sharpener is powered via a classic 12V adapter. It can handle both stainless steel and ceramic knives. In addition, you can easily choose which of the two grits to use.
To sharpen your knives, just plug the adapter into the power outlet and into the sharpener and flip the switch. Then just run your knife through the left and right grooves alternately. First with a "1" mark for coarse sharpening and then grooves with a "2" mark for fine sharpening. This way you not only manage to sharpen already completely dull knives, but also keep all your tools perfectly sharp.
The sharpener also has a replaceable grinding head. In case of its wear, you don't have to buy a completely new sharpener, but just equip yourself with a new head. Thanks to its compact dimensions and weight of only 575 g, you can also keep it handy in the kitchen at all times.
