The one-piece extra tall Primary Arms mount allows the scope with a 30mm tube to be mounted in the lower 1/3 cowitness position relative to the mechanical sights on the Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail.
The design is made of anodized aluminum, which makes it lightweight and therefore does not increase the felt weight of the weapon. Its mounting is done with six Torx screws.
