PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Machine translated

These high-quality casting tongs (mould) are designed for casting lead cylinders that can be used for pressing Slug-type pellets. The mould has a total of 8 grooves, each with a diameter of 6 mm and a depth of 12 mm.

Presslug Form is manufactured entirely in the Czech Republic using very precise CNC technologies. This model comes with a lifetime warranty.

To achieve the best possible results and reliability, the materials used must also meet a number of demanding requirements. The casting mould is made from aluminium alloy EN AW 7075 with a red anodized surface finish, and the blackened cutting bar is made from tool steel TOOLOX 44. Stainless steel INOX 1.4301 was used in the production of the tongs themselves.

The process of casting lead blanks for subsequent pressing is very simple. However, it is necessary to follow basic safety instructions when working with lead.

Before casting, the mould must be heated and properly closed. Then just pour the molten lead into the individual grooves and cut off the excess metal with the cutting bar. After that, you can open the mould and pour the freshly cast cylinders onto a soft cloth (for example an old towel or dishcloth).

These cylinders will have a diameter of 6 mm and are suitable for pressing Slug-type rounds in 6.35 mm calibre.
