Variable magnification rifle scopes
Rifle scope from the Japanese manufacturer Optisan. One-piece nitrogen-filled
tube with glass lenses and a 1/2 Mildot reticle.
The Optisan HX 4-12x40 AO 1/2 Mildot riflescope is suitable for medium-range shooting and has a 25% larger field of view than most 4-12x40 optics on the market.
This riflescope has a classic design with a one-piece tube filled with nitrogen, which prevents the optics from fogging up. The lenses are glass and provide a very clear and bright image. Optisan HX 4-12x40 AO 1/2 Mildot is also rated as fogproof, waterproof, and shock-resistant.
The objective is adjustable – parallax can be set from 10 yards to infinity.
The optic features a 1/2 Mildot reticle. Thanks to its finer scale this crosshair is less distracting when tracking the target, while remaining perfectly sharp and precise when aiming.
The design of this riflescope is best suited for air rifles and PCP airguns.
