Opinel 7 Inox green is a representative of an outdoor pocket knife equipped with a Sandvik 12C27M stainless steel blade, Virobloc lock and a wooden handle with a strap.
The blade measures 80 mm and is made of Sandvik 12C27M modified hardened stainless steel of hardness 57-58 HRC. Thanks to the addition of chrome, it is incredibly corrosion resistant, so it requires no special care. The blade is unfolded with two hands using a special cut-out for the nail - the nailnick.
The blade edges are convex, making the cut faster and more efficient.
The hornbeam handle is well protected from dirt and moisture thanks to a layer of green lacquer. The back of the handle has a strap hole.
The blade is secured by a virobloc lock - metal ring, which needs to be rotated to fix the blade.
