The two-piece mount Vector Optics X-ACCU XASR-3453 is a lightweight and precisely manufactured solution for mounting riflescopes with a 34 mm tube on a standard 22 mm Picatinny rail.
Both mounting rings are precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy. This material offers a suitable combination of low weight, strength and durability.
Each mounting ring is equipped with six screws, which allow an even and secure clamping of the riflescope tube. For tightening the screws, the manufacturer recommends a torque of 18–22 in-lb, i.e. approximately 2.0–2.5 N·m.
Once installed, the centre of the tube is at a height of 32 mm above the top edge of the mounting rail. This height is suitable for riflescopes with an objective lens up to 56 mm. However, before mounting it is always necessary to take into account the actual external diameter of the objective, the caps used and the design of the specific firearm.
