The handle is made of hardened rubber and the texture on its surface ensures good adhesion in the hand and safe handling. At the very end of the handle there is an opening for attaching accessories (saw, file, spike), which are not included and can be purchased separately.
The key element of the knife is a Drop Point blade made of carbon steel GR 1070 (hardness 55–57 HRC) with black finish and a wedge grind. The cutting edge is 140 mm long and its thickness is 3.7 mm.
The timeless UTON design was created back in the 1970s and since then it has been popular not only with regular users, but also with the army and the police.
