As the name itself suggests, MeoHunter R5 riflescopes are designed primarily for hunting purposes. And despite using advanced technologies and functions that you can find in Meopta models costing many times more, MeoHunter riflescopes offer a perfect price / quality ratio.
The highly durable construction made of aircraft-grade aluminium is capable of withstanding all common hunting calibres, the nitrogen-filled tube prevents lens fogging during sudden temperature changes, and resistance to dust, rain, and complete immersion hardly even needs to be mentioned. Protective flip-up lens covers are also included with the riflescope.
The optical system really offers a lot. The lenses are coated with anti-reflective layers providing light transmission of up to 84%, and the outer lenses additionally feature a water-repellent layer. The etched reticle is equipped with red illumination with 11 intensity levels with the option of switching off in the intermediate positions, or you can use the Auto-Off function, where the illumination automatically switches off after 2 hours. Power is supplied by a single CR2032 battery (1 pc included in the package).
This model is equipped with a 4C reticle in the 2nd focal plane SFP (the reticle does not change with magnification).
The open adjustment turrets are equipped with a Pop-Up function (to adjust them, they must be pulled up; when pushed down, they are locked). The scales on Meopta adjustment turrets are in cm/100m. Naturally, there is also the option of dioptre correction in the range of -3D/+2D. Parallax is adjustable from 15 metres to infinity.
