Meopta MeoHunter R5 3-15x50 SFP RD 4C

With over 90 years of experience in developing optical devices, the Czech manufacturer Meopta has earned worldwide reputation for their riflescopes, which are valued for their exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding durability and maximum reliability in all possible situations.

As the name itself suggests, the MeoHunter R5 riflescopes are designed primarily for hunting purposes. And despite incorporating advanced technologies and features that you would find in significantly more expensive Meopta models, MeoHunter riflescopes offer excellent price/quality ratio.

The super durable aerospace grade aluminium housing can withstand all common hunting calibers, the nitrogen-purged tube prevents the lenses from fogging up during rapid temperature changes, and the dust, rain and full submersion protection needs no further explanation. The riflescope also comes with protective flip-up lens caps.

The optical system truly offers a lot. All of the lenses are coated with anti-reflective layers ensuring up to 84% light transmission, the exterior lenses also feature a water-repellent layer. The glass-etched reticle features red illumination with 11 levels, with an OFF position between each. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the Auto-Off function, which automatically switches the illumination off after 2 hours of inactivity. The illumination is powered by a single CR2032 battery (1 piece included).

This model features a 4C reticle in the 2nd focal plane (SFP), (the reticle does not change size as you adjust the magnification).

The open rectification turrets feature a Pop-Up function (to adjust them, you need to lift them up. When pushed down, they are locked). The scale of the Meopta riflescope rectification turrets is set in cm/100m. Diopter correction is also available in the range of -3D/+2D. The parallax is adjustable from 10 meters to infinity.
