Lansky C-Sharp is based on the popular QuadSharp model. With one significant difference - it is a ceramic sander. It is a multifunctional grinder that can grind 4 different angles of the grind. You can thus use it for example for sharpening classic, serrated and filleting blades.
Angle 17° will be suitable for razors or filleting knives with extreme edge sharpness, Angle 20° will be used for sharpening knives with high-quality blades (kitchen knives and especially slicing knives), The 25° angle is recommended for common knives with a need for a durable yet sharp blade (hunting knives and outdoor knives) and the 30° angle is for heavy duty tools (knives designed to cut carpet or cardboard).
The stretch grinders have a 600 Grit, and are therefore used for fine grinding and sharpening smooth edge knives. At the same time, however, the C-Sharp sharpener also features a ceramic grit stone with a 800 Grit, which is suitable for sharpening and polishing smooth as well as notched blades.
