Humidity and sudden temperature changes do not affect its functionality, as it is waterproof and the tubes are filled with dry nitrogen – so it will never fog up. The eyepieces are equipped with retractable Twist-up eyecups to allow adjustment of the optimal distance between the pupil and the lens. Dioptre correction adjustment is located on the right eyepiece.
The entire optical system is anti-reflective to achieve better light transmission and overall image quality. The resulting image can be magnified up to 10x and focused from as close as 2.5 metres.
With the binoculars, Hawke supplies a special cleaning cloth, a drawstring pouch and a practical carrying case, to which a padded strap can be attached. During transport, the lenses are protected by the included rubber caps.
