PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Classic and exceptionally light closing knife from the French manufacturer Opinel, which has been manufacturing knives for nearly 100 years. The flat ground thin blade is made of carbon steel, which is ideal for sharpening and sharpening due to its properties. Carbon steel is very resistant to dulling. To maintain the best properties, carbon steel must be properly cared for. It is therefore advisable to dry and oil the knife after each use. If these principles are followed, the blade will retain its original appearance and perfect sharpness.

The high-quality profiled handle made of beech wood is a guarantee of a firm and comfortable grip. The blade lock consists of a rotating ring, which was patented in 1955 under the name virobloc.

The knife will benefit all people looking for a traditional, simple and functional knife. It is also an excellent candidate for a novel and useful gift.

How to choose a machete

Machetes are perfect tools for literally any job, where a regular knife doesn't do the trick. Thanks to their dimensions, they can also take the role of a proper axe. So whether you are an avid gardener, embark on exciting expeditions or just want to have a solid piece of iron (or rather high-quality steel) nearby, a machete is definitely a must-have in your kit.
