Tactical knife with automatic opening Benchmade 9070BK Claymore suitable for everyday carry (EDC).
The drop-point blade is made of CPM-D2 powder steel with a hardness of 60-62HRC, which has perfect cutting properties and is extremely wear-resistant thanks to its high carbon and chromium content. Although it is not stainless steel, it still contains more than 11% chromium. It therefore offers sufficient corrosion resistance. Nevertheless, the blade is additionally coated with cobalt black, which effectively protects the blade from contact with dirt and moisture.
The automatic blade opening system utilises a durable metal button located on the left side of the handle so that it can be easily reached with the thumb of the right hand. Accidental blade opening is prevented by a reliable sliding lock near the button.
The ergonomically shaped tactical-style handle features durable scales with roughened / grooved parts made of semi-crystalline polyamide called Grivory. The end of the handle features a lanyard hole.
