The Kandar N-46 is a heavyweight fighter among fixed blade knives. The one-piece full tang construction certainly adds some weight, but on the other hand it makes it incredibly durable. It is the high durability that makes it an ideal candidate for a survival knife ideal for heavy duty work in tough conditions.
The aggressive blade shape is complemented by a long false blade and six cutouts in the back of the spine, which are designed to provide support for the index finger when making a precision cut or for the thumb when you need to provide more force. The blade is smooth along its entire length and is hollow-cut.
The handle scales are made of dark wood and are attached to the base by three pins. A hole at the very end of the handle allows the knife to be fitted with a string. The knife is supplied with a black nylon sheath that can be attached to a belt.
