PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Detachable IR illuminator with a wavelength of 940 nm, which replaces the standard 850 nm module on compatible DNT Optics devices. It is intended for less conspicuous night observation at short and medium distances.
Compared to the 850 nm illuminator, the 940 nm variant offers more discreet operation and a less visible red glow. However, you need to reckon with softer illumination and a shorter effective range. The 850 nm module is therefore more suitable where maximum brightness and range are the priority, while you will appreciate 940 nm when your requirement is the least conspicuous illumination possible.
