The knife is made from a single piece of 440C stainless steel, which gives it much more strength than is common with knives with only a set blade. The blade has a smooth edge. On the spine you will find a handy hook for gutting game and serrations serving as a thumb rest. To make the knife easy to handle, the manufacturer has added a pointer finger hole to the blade body.
The handle consists of the aforementioned uniform knife body, which is lined with green roughened polymer sheaths. You don't have to worry about the knife slipping out of your hands. The knife will grip perfectly even if your hands are stained with the blood of a skinned animal.
