New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers HIKMICRO M15 is a night vision camera trap designed for hunters and people involved in observing nature. The device allows image capture in daylight as well as in low-light night conditions using an infrared 940 nm illuminator.
The optics used can produce photos with a resolution of up to 10 Mpx and Full HD videos including audio. In addition, thanks to the use of the 4G mobile network, we can receive real-time alerts. All recordings are continuously stored in the mobile app, which gives us uninterrupted access to them. The app also offers a clear interface with the option to set all functions in one place, so we are able to manage everything remotely. A great feature is the built-in GPS module, which always shows us where the device is currently located.
Every movement is immediately detected by a highly sensitive sensor (PIR) with a response time of 0.5 seconds at a distance of up to 25 metres. Its field of view with a width of 45° allows a large area to be covered. Thanks to its low power consumption the device can operate for a long time even at sub-zero temperatures down to -20 °C.
For mounting the device, mounting straps are included in the package, allowing it to be easily attached to a tree trunk. Equally useful is the 1/4“-20-UNC thread for tripod mounting.
The durable polymer body with protection rating IP66 provides protection against mechanical damage as well as environmental influences. Power is supplied by AA batteries – you can use 6 or 12 cells, which in practice allows you to extend the operating time up to 6 months. In addition, you can use the 12V port to connect an external power source such as a solar panel, etc.
