The British company Hawke has more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing optics with an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Its products are well known among sport shooters. The company demonstrates its confidence in its riflescopes with a lifetime warranty.
The riflescope Hawke Sidewinder 30 SF 4-16x50 SR Pro II has a durable aluminium tube made from a single piece, and the reticle is etched directly onto the lens, which guarantees high resistance to recoil from powerful calibres. The tube is nitrogen-filled, which prevents internal fogging of the optical system during sudden temperature changes. The lenses are treated with 18 protective layers.
The SR Pro II reticle helps you reliably estimate the trajectory of your bullet regardless of calibre. The cross itself is illuminated and the brightness can be adjusted in 6 levels of red. Parallax is adjustable from 10 yards (9.14 m) to infinity.
The riflescope is in the second focal plane (SFP), so the selected magnification does not change the size of the reticle.
The adjustment on this model is in milliradians and the value of one click is 1/10 MRAD (10 mm at 100 m). The turrets are lockable and each click is clearly perceptible. The see-through window (Witness Window) on the top turret is definitely worth mentioning, as it helps you determine the exact position of the elevation turret setting.
