Precise chopping and cutting is made possible by the reverse curved design that keeps the knuckles away from the cutting surface. The blade's smooth edge is made of 7Cr17MoV cutlery steel. Opening is very easy as there is a thumb hole on the blade. This model can therefore be opened with one hand.
Gerber Flatiron Folding Cleaver is 11.9 cm long when closed and 21.5 cm long when open. The handle is in sand finish and the blade has a satin finish.
