Metal Detector Garrett Vortex VX9

The professional metal detector Garrett Vortex VX9 is based on a range of detectors specially developed for searching in water. It is designed to meet the expectations of demanding users looking for advanced features and maximum performance. 

Controls and functions

Its central element is a clear three-level MD-MF Target ID display with two ferromagnetic ID scales that make it easy to identify every type of discovered object. 

With regard to the type of ground being searched, you can adjust the operating frequency (Multi, Multi-Salt, 5 kHz, 9 kHz, 13 kHz, 18 kHz and 25 kHz), recovery speed (3 levels) or search mode (7 modes – all metals, basic, USA Coins, struck coins, beach, fast mode, custom mode). For more precise pinpointing there is the Pinpoint function.

Found objects are signalled by tones, where you can adjust discrimination in the form of an audio signal (Iron Audio) or volume (Iron Volume). Listening is comfortable thanks to wireless Z-Lynk technology for headphones, but there is also a classic speaker. 

Power supply and equipment

To scan the ground it uses a waterproof Raider coil measuring 8.5" x 11", which provides excellent detection depth and accuracy. The shaft can be adjusted in length from 63 cm to 144 cm.

Power is provided by a built-in rechargeable battery with a runtime of up to 15 hours.
