Fomei 20-60x80 Foreman ED (A) monocular is a viewing telescope with a durable aluminum body. It is suitable for observing animals in nature, especially from static positions such as stands and hides. It is also useful at sports shooting ranges. However, it will also be appreciated by photographers or ornithologists. Fine focusing ensures a sharp image at any eyepiece setting. The monocular is also resistant to water and dust.
The telescope, similar to Fomei rifle scopes, is filled with dry nitrogen, which prevents the internal lenses from fogging even in adverse weather. The telescope features fully glass ED optics and lenses with SMC anti-reflective coating to ensure the highest possible light transmission. This is already significantly higher than most classic rifle scopes or binoculars thanks to the 80 mm objective lens diameter.
The monocular has a "Dual Focusing" function, meaning dual focusing. It is used for coarse and fine focusing, which is especially useful for long-distance observation, such as in ornithology or sport shooting. If you purchase a DSLR adapter and a T2 adapter ring, you can use the monocular as a lens for Canon or Nikon DSLR cameras.
Thanks to the 20-60x magnification, you will see much greater details than with your rifle scope. The ring clamp has a universal 1/4" thread for a tripod screw. The "A" version, that is, "angled," has an angled eyepiece, which is especially suitable for mounting on a tripod. The observer does not need to lean back much to see the night sky or birds. Additionally, it can be mounted on lower tripods. It comes with a practical protective case.
