It allows you to swing the device to the side in an instant, giving you an unobstructed view through the red dot sight without having to completely remove the sight from the weapon.
The optical axis height of 1.7″ is optimised for combining the NVMD-C200 with red dot sights. The mount is attached to a standard Picatinny rail and its quick-detach mechanism allows easy removal and reattachment without tools. The locking lever with automatic safety keeps the device firmly in place.
When used with the NVMD-C200, the mount enables the Flip-to-Side Action Camera function. After flipping the device to the side, the sight can automatically start vertical FPV recording or switch to a power-saving standby mode. The specific behaviour can be configured in the device menu.
The cantilever design provides sufficient space to set a suitable position and eye relief. The body is made from a single block of 6063 aircraft-grade aluminium and finished with a black hard-anodised surface treatment that increases resistance to scratches and corrosion. The mount weighs 133 g and is rated for recoil up to calibre .50 BMG.
