PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Fenix PD40R V2.0 is a compact flashlight with a maximum light output of 3000 lumens and a range of up to 405 meters. It uses the Luminus SST-70 LED as the light source. You can choose from a total of five light modes (3000 lm, 1000 lm, 350 lm, 30 lm, 2500 lm strobe). When using the lowest wattage, the runtime can climb to 88 hours.
The power supply is provided by the supplied Li-ion 21700 battery, which can be charged directly in the flashlight via the USB-C connector. There are also a number of safety features such as protection against incorrect battery insertion and overheating. The battery charge status indication is also worth mentioning.
Made from aerospace-grade hardened aluminum, the Tubus can withstand drops from up to 1 m. The flashlight is waterproof and dustproof according to IP68 standard (tested at a depth of 2 m). The tempered ultra clear glass lens has an anti-reflective finish.
This model is sure to be appreciated in the field, but it certainly won't get lost in regular home use either. The compact size and light weight are also huge advantages.
