Element Helix GEN2 6-24x50 FFP APR-2D MRAD is a modern tactical and sport riflescope designed for precision shooting at medium and long ranges. Thanks to its wide magnification range, it is suitable both for range training and for more demanding target and tactical shooting.
Features and characteristics
The heart of this model is the APR-2D MRAD reticle in the first focal plane (FFP). When changing magnification, the size of the reticle changes together with the image, so all MRAD values and reference points remain valid across the entire magnification range. The shooter can comfortably use advanced bullet drop and wind hold-off estimations without the need for recalculations.
The optical system with a 50mm objective lens provides a bright and high‑contrast image. The manufacturer uses multi‑layer anti‑reflection coatings on the lenses for better light transmission and reduced glare, which makes aiming easier in variable light conditions. The tube is made as a one‑piece body, fully sealed and nitrogen‑purged for increased resistance to fogging and moisture.
The 6–24× magnification range covers both precise aiming at longer distances and comfortable use at medium ranges. Zoom operation is smooth, with a clearly readable scale. The side turret is used for parallax adjustment from 10 metres to infinity, allowing the target to be focused and parallax error minimized over a wide range of distances.
The elevation and windage turrets are designed for MRAD adjustments with clearly tactile clicks and distinct markings. Helix GEN2 uses a zero‑stop system, which allows you to set a reference zero position after zeroing the rifle and return to it quickly. The controls are designed so that the shooter can change settings even while wearing gloves, without losing awareness of the current turret position.
The riflescope is designed for use on more powerful centrefire or PCP platforms, with a body that is resistant to recoil and to mechanical stress from frequent handling. The tube’s surface finish ensures good resistance to scratching and does not reflect unwanted light, which is advantageous for both tactical and sporting use.
