The blade is set in an ergonomically shaped polymer handle. Mikov used matte black ABS plastic for the handle. Thanks to the roughened surface, the knife won't just fall out of your hand.
Ejecting the knife is provided by a flip lever at the top of the handle. Simply lift it away from the handle and squeeze. The blade then shoots out very quickly. The lever continues to act as a locker. You can't close the blade without squeezing it. The blade, flip lever and ejector pens have a matte finish.
