Mikov Predator Blackout 241-BH1/BKP is automatically a throwing knife. If it looks familiar to you, you really are a loyal Bond fan. James Bond stuck it in Dimitri's body in the 2006 film Casino Royale. Once again, Hollywood's knife makers were taken in by the knife's elegant look and very efficient opening.
The knife has a Spear Point type blade made of Bohler N690 stainless steel, but unlike the typical SSpear Point blade, it has one false and one smooth blade. This makes the knife considerably easier to close, making it more suitable for everyday use rather than regular self-defense. Thanks to the high-quality leather sheath with belt clip, you can really carry it every day at hand.
The blade is set in an ergonomically shaped polymer handle. Mikov used matte black ABS plastic for the handle. Thanks to the roughened surface, the knife won't just fall out of your hand.
Ejecting the knife is ensured by a flip lever at the top of the handle. Simply lift it away from the handle and squeeze. The blade then flips out very quickly. The lever continues to act as a locker. You can't close the blade without squeezing it. The blade, flip lever and ejector pens have a DLC finish.
