The air is pumped using the fore-end. You regulate the muzzle energy by the number of pumps, from 3 to 10. The air rifle is primarily designed for steel BBs, which are more suitable for fun, destructive shooting. The BB reservoir is in the pistol grip, where you can pour in up to 300 BBs.
If you are a fan of more accurate target shooting, you will certainly appreciate the possibility of shooting lead pellets as well. Pellets are inserted into a 5-shot magazine.
