The 1-8x variable magnification is a perfect choice for tactical shooting with fast target acquisition at short and medium ranges. You can adjust the power of magnification with the practical folding throw lever, which you can also replace with the longer variant (included in the box).
The 30 mm tube is filled with nitrogen to prevent the fogging of the lenses. This model also features IPX7 waterproof construction. This means that it can be submerged in 1 m of water for up to 30 minutes. The lenses are fully multi-coated for maximum light transmission and image brightness.
The turrets are capped and you have to unscrew the caps before you can make any windage or elevation adjustments. Each click is distinctive and has a value of 1/10 MRAD. The left turret will allow you to choose one of six different brightness settings. The parallax is set to 100 yards (91,4 m).
The BTR-1 reticle has drop points to get you on targets out to 500 yards with standard .223 Remington/5,56 x 45 NATO (55 - 62 gr FMJ) ammunition. The glass-etched reticle is illuminated in red colour.
