Replica of the legendary CO2-powered rifle from the renowned brand Barra. Model 1866 imitates a classic western repeater, including a faithfully reproduced lever action reloading system.
Its entire construction gives a robust impression, mainly thanks to the wood‑effect components in the form of the stock and fore-end. The remaining parts are made of metal, including the rear and front sight.
The internal mechanism is powered by two 12 g cartridges, which are inserted into the rear of the stock. For shooting, lead pellets are used, which, in combination with the rifled barrel, ensure high accuracy at short distances. The pellets are inserted into replica shells, for which a 10‑shot tubular magazine is provided. Since the rifle fires in a repeating mode, it must be cocked before each shot.

A practical feature you will appreciate during rapid fire is the 22 mm mounting rail offering space for attaching a red dot sight. You can also traditionally use the iron sights in the form of a fixed front sight and a standard or aperture rear sight. To increase safety, you can additionally secure the rifle between individual shots with a manual safety cleverly located just behind the hammer.

If someone chooses this air rifle,he will be thrilled.I was surprised by the
accuracy of the hits. When using different pellets, the GAMO MATCH
Clasik(TRAINING) with flat tip worked best.It shoots up to the size of a double
crown at 10m.Charging is good without any problems, you just have to bend the tip
of the cartridge down more. The only problem was that after screwing the needle
did not pierce the bomb (the bottom one did). When screwing it in it jammed and
could not be tightened. It is cast and the threads remained rough. After smoothing
the threads it is no problem.I wish everyone who buys it to enjoy western
shooting.
