The Boresnake cleaning cord is one of the fastest and simplest ways of cleaning firearms available. This boresnake is suitable for cleaning barrels in 6.35 mm, 6 mm, or .243 calibre. It is a product that should be included in every gun cleaning kit. At the beginning of the cord there is a brass rod, which is inserted into the barrel and passes all the way through to the muzzle. At the front of the cleaning section of the red‑green cord there is an integrated wire brush for coarse fouling. These deposits are scrubbed out first, and then the rest of the cord removes them.
The advantage of the cord is its compactness. At the end of the cleaning section there is also a loop, which not only prevents the braided cord from fraying, but also allows you to hang the boresnake by it. You can wash it in a washing machine. The total length of the boresnake is 180 cm, of which the cleaning section accounts for 75 cm.

The pcp airgun manufacturer exclusively recommends a nylon dial. With a brass
dial there is a risk of scratching the bore.
I have the nylon dial separately and the brass brush is scuffed and taped.
I use this cord for final cleaning and to lubricate the bore.
