Czech manufacturer Meopta has more than 90 years of experience in the development of optical devices. This is why their riflescopes are recognized worldwide for their perfect workmanship, exceptional durability, and maximum reliability in any conditions.
As the name itself suggests, MeoHunter R5 riflescopes are designed primarily for hunting purposes. And despite the use of advanced technologies and features that you can find in Meopta models costing many times more, MeoHunter riflescopes offer a perfect price / performance ratio.
The highly durable aircraft-grade aluminium construction can withstand all common hunting calibres, the nitrogen-filled tube prevents lens fogging during sudden temperature changes, and resistance to dust, rain, and full submersion hardly needs mentioning. Protective flip-up lens covers are also included with the riflescope.
The optical system offers really a lot. The lenses are coated with anti-reflective layers ensuring light transmission of up to 84%, and the outer lenses additionally feature a water-repellent layer. The etched reticle offers red illumination with 11 intensity levels with the option of switching it off in intermediate positions, or you can use the Auto-Off function, where the illumination turns off automatically after 2 hours. Power is supplied by one CR2032 battery (1 pc included).
This model is equipped with the BDC3 reticle in the 1st focal plane FFP (the reticle increases in size depending on the riflescope magnification).
The exposed adjustment turrets are equipped with the Pop-Up function (to adjust them, they must be pulled up; when pushed down, they are locked). The scale of the Meopta riflescope adjustment turrets is graduated in cm/100m. Dioptre correction in the range of -3D/+2D is also provided as standard. Parallax is adjustable from 10 metres to infinity.
