Thanks to its thick blade, full-tang construction and durable micarta scales, it can handle preparing firewood, camp chores as well as finer cutting for cooking or gear preparation. With an overall length of 34 cm and a blade length of 20 cm, it offers an excellent compromise between control and chopping/splitting performance.
The core of the knife is a solid clip point blade with a length of 20 cm and a thickness of 6 mm, made from stainless steel Böhler n695. This steel is popular for its balanced ratio of wear resistance, toughness and easy maintenance – you will appreciate it especially with frequent outdoor use, where the knife needs to be re-sharpened quickly and easily. Thanks to a hardness of 57–60 HRC, the blade holds its edge well and is still flexible enough to withstand rougher handling.
Full tang one-piece blade construction – maximises the overall strength and reliability. It easily copes with chopping, splitting wood and other heavy-duty tasks in the field.
The handle is fitted with canvas micarta scales in an attractive green finish. Micarta is a composite material known for its durability, stability and excellent grip even when wet or in cold conditions, which is ideal for real-world outdoor use. The material is highly resistant to moisture, temperature changes and long-term use in demanding conditions.
The ergonomically shaped handle with a fuller profile sits comfortably in the hand and offers a safe grip even during prolonged work, when the knife is used for chopping or rougher cutting. The solid connection of the scales to the tang is ensured by screwed metal elements, which contribute to the overall stability of the construction.
At the end of the handle there is a lanyard hole for threading a cord or safety lanyard, which can increase safety during use or make it easier to hang and secure the knife on your gear.
The Joker CM146 comes with a quality sheath made of genuine leather in a natural colour. The sheath is designed for comfortable and safe carry of the knife in the field – it protects both the blade and the user, while allowing you to keep the knife always at hand. Thanks to its robust construction, the sheath is suitable for long-term outdoor use and nicely complements the overall outdoor character of the knife, and thanks to the belt loop you can also easily hang it on your belt.
