Dan Wesson 715 is a superb air revolver with an all-metal construction. The first thing you will notice is the high-quality workmanship and the weight of 1225 g, which adds to its realism. In the hand, it feels like a live firearm. The higher weight also makes aiming easier, as the gun gains greater stability.
The gun has an all-metal frame and polymer grips. After opening the left half of the grip, you will see the compartment for a 12g CO2 cartridge, which is inserted into the grip and secured using an Allen key that is integrated into the opened half of the grip. This is a big advantage, as you don’t need to carry any extra accessories with you.
The revolver has a Double Action trigger, secured by a manual safety located behind the hammer. The gun is designed for shooting 4.5 mm pellets. They are loaded into the rear of the cartridges and then inserted into the cylinder, which you swing out using the release on the left side of the gun.
When you pull the trigger, the pellets are fired through the 6-inch rifled barrel. With a muzzle energy of 3 J, this is one of the most powerful air revolvers. The light-alloy sights help with accurate shooting. The rear sight can be adjusted for windage and elevation as needed.
