  • I recommend it for small rifles 22 LR and 22 WMR, also for air rifles PCP. I have mounted and shot this optic on these guns for myself and friends and everything works fine. Total of 3 optics and all ok.
  • MIL DOT illuminated crosshairs are suitable for hunting and hobby target shooting. It is made of steel and is therefore susceptible to damage on impact. Those looking for an optic for sport target shooting should pay extra for the version with the etched cross in glass. The latter is more durable and finer for accurate aiming. For hunting purposes, a crosshair with an illuminator and a thicker outline is more suitable so you can aim well in the dark.
  • The price vs. performance ratio is great.
  • Included in the package is a duralumin mount for 11 mm fish.

I bought it as a replacement for the rifle scope in the Gamo Quiet Cat air rifle set. That air rifle is a pretty strong spring loaded rifle and it shook the crap out of that setup. It just wouldn't shoot. I shot the Valiant on the first try, the workmanship is nice, the service is very pleasant and the price is probably the lowest in its category. I highly recommend it.
