Mikov Kostka is a practical knife with a very unusual opening system, which most closely resembles butterfly knives. The name "Kostka" (Cube) is derived from the shape of the knife in its closed state.
The smooth, center-pointed blade is made of 440A stainless steel with 55-57 HRc hardness. The blade is 62mm long, 2mm thick and 9mm wide.
The handle consists of two rectangular moving parts, which must be flipped by 180° to open the knife. Due to the very compact dimensions of the handle, the blade is rotated by 45° to maintain its durability. Due to this unique opening system, the knife does not need any safety lock - it is simply secured by you holding the two handle parts together.
The overall length of the knife is 142mm when open and 77.5mm when closed. Despite being made entirely of steel, the knife weighs only 40g. It is therefore suitable for everyday carry in your pocket.
