The Steel Tiger knife design is a modern take on the Indonesian karambit. This shape is widely used in the martial art of Pencak silat, which is widespread in most of Southeast Asia. During combat, the pinky finger is threaded through a hole at the end of the handle and the knife is rotated around it. The Steel Tiger, however, finds application in everyday work just as its Karambit model did.
The blade is deeply curved and ends in a sharp point. The material used is durable AUS 8A steel, which has undergone a Stone Wash Finish. This steel is very strong, keeps its edge and is not so problematic in terms of maintenance.
The grip is taken care of by the Kray-Ex™ (Kraton G) blade, which features an ergonomic shape and a useful belt clip.
