Lead pellets are the most popular type of ammunition for air rifles. They offer good accuracy and ballistic properties. Steel BBs are most commonly used with air pistols. They might not be as accurate as the standard pellets but they are perfect for plinking.
Blank pistols and revolvers are designed to shoot acoustic and defensive blank rounds. They are most commonly made in 9 mm or 8 mm P.A.K. calibers. The standard blank rounds make a really effective acoustic effect and can be used in starter pistols or to train your dog. They are also necessary for launching signal flares. Defensive blank rounds contain pepper extract or similar substances which are designed to stop the attacker. We can definitely recommend the Wadie PV-S defensive pepper rounds.
Flobert rounds are most commonly available in two calibers: 6 mm and 4 mm. The former are made with ball-shaped or pointed projectiles and the latter are only made with ball-shaped projectiles.
You can even shoot rocks from slingshot but we would still recommend using steel balls for plinking. The most common type of arrows and crossbow bolts are outfitted with aluminium shafts. Carbon arrows are made for people who take archery very seriously.
RAM weapons require a specific type of ammunition. They are designed to shoot ordinary rubber balls and also pepper projectiles so they are a perfect choice for self-defense.
