Air Arms MPR (Multi-Positional Rifle) is a PCP air rifle from the south of British Isles, especially designed for summer biathlon training. It has everything it needs – a precision barrel, ergonomically shaped stock, smooth action, match grade trigger, diopter sight, four 5-shot magazines and more.
The exceptional poplar stock is the most prominent feature of this airgun. It is quite sturdy without being too heavy. The cheek rest and the buttpad are both adjustable. The pistol grip has an anti-slip surface.
You can attach a bipod or a sling to the aluminium mounting rail located on the lower side of the forearm. The forearm is also outfitted with slots for four 5-shot rotary magazines. That is great because it allows you to quickly change the magazines without having to search for them in your pockets.
The Lothar Walther barrel has a length of 486 mm. The fully-filled air cylinder should give you about 120 shots with a muzzle energy of 7 J.
A sporting rifle should have an excellent trigger and this model is no exception. It is fully adjustable so you can tune it to the tiniest detail. The fast-cycling side lever has a very smooth action. The rear diopter sight is a must for any biathlon rifle.
