PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Crosman AK1 is a fully automatic airgun inspired by the legendary AK-47. It is powered by two 12g CO2 cartridges and its rate of fire reaches up to 1400 rounds per minute. You can also shoot in semi-automatic mode.

The metal frame is covered by a polymer layer which gives it a high durability. The buttstock is adjustable and foldable. The tactical forearm is outfitted with four Picatinny rails for additional accessories. Another 22 mm rail is placed on top of the receiver and will allow you to mount a scope or a red dot sight. The fire selector is easily accessible from the right side of the gun.

The magazine has a capacity of twenty-eight .177 (4,5 mm) caliber steel BBs and you can fill it with the included speed loader. The compartment inside of the magazine is designed to hold two 12g CO2 cartridges. They should give you about 100 shots. It is important to insert both cartridges simultaneously and slowly tighten them with the included Allen key. You could drain the cartridge if you don’t follow these rules.

The BlowBack system simulates realistic movement of the bolt and gives the gun some recoil.

So, I was deciding between MP40 and MP5, and in the end I chose this mix. Nice piece, honest material, nice ergonomics and reasonable blowback, even with factory sights you can hit something but the magazine… friends the magazine. Two packs of gutalax to go with it. First, about 1 in 4 magazines jammed my ammo in the valve hole, then again in front of it for a change. You have to fiddle with it a bit with a file, maybe half the magazine with screws, then you can do it but for the price :-|

  • Processing and materials
  • Ergonomics
  • Reasonable blowback
  • Mouldings and factory sights
  • Disastrous stack
